The Beta Rewards Program
The initial phase of the WeatherXM Network operated under a Beta incentives structure to reward pioneering station operators who deployed hardware before the formal launch of the token and mainnet reward algorithms.
Key Milestones
- Beta Period Conclusion: The Beta data collection period officially concluded on May 27, 2024 (UTC).
- Station-Hour Calculation: All valid station-hours recorded by active stations up to the cutoff date were aggregated into the final Beta Rewards Table (BRT).
- Beta Boost Distribution: Eligible stations received their calculated allocation via a daily programmatic Reward Boost added to their base daily distributions.
- Program Completion: The scheduled distribution of the Beta Rewards Boost concluded on July 29, 2025.
